This manual is published as an outcome of the project entitled, “Enhancing Mongolia’s capacity for drought/dzud monitoring and early warning”, under ESCAP’s Regional Drought Mechanism. The project was implemented by the National Remote Sensing Center (NRSC) of Information and Research Institute of Meteorology, Hydrology and Environment (IRIMHE) of Mongolia and the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth (RADI) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, with the technical support of the three Regional Service Nodes in China, India and Thailand.
