ESCAP assist regional countries in reaching their population goals through advisory services, research, training, information sharing and other technical assistance. The Seminar on Population Policies for Top-level Policy Makers and Programme Managers was organized to help keep member Governments abreast of current issues concerning population policies and programme experience as well as methodological and conceptual developments. The Seminar enabled both the sharing of experience and the updating of knowledge on current fertility dynamics.
