This report presents the evaluation of the ESCAP sub-program for macroeconomic policy and inclusive development under the substantive responsibility of the Macroeconomic Policy and Financing for Development Division (MPFD). The evaluation is undertaken in the context of recent key developments with the global development agendas as well as important organizational changes within ESCAP.

The purpose of this evaluation is to contribute to MPFD and as well to ESCAP management generally, recommendations on how it can improve its management performance and create additional value for its member states. While recognizing that MPFD is part of a broader organization, namely ESCAP, the exercise does not undertake to evaluate other divisions or sub-programmes.
