Abstract

This presentation examines the factors influencing innovative entrepreneurship, with a focus on Tajikistan and the broader CIS region. It highlights key determinants such as institutional quality, business environment, access to finance, and the role of social capital in fostering innovation. The document reviews reform efforts and identifies major constraints, including weak financial systems, low trust, and insufficient implementation capacity. It emphasizes the importance of strengthening institutional, entrepreneurial, and financing capacities through policy reforms, capacity-building, and improved regulatory frameworks. The presentation concludes with policy recommendations aimed at enhancing competitiveness, improving access to finance, and promoting sustainable innovation-driven economic growth
